Conditions: The activities will be in and around Lhasa, thus the road condition is very good. As attractions are very close to each other, customers won’t need to spend much time in the car. A little walking or climbing is involved. As the altitude is about 3,650 meters above sea level, a reasonable level of fitness is needed. This tour itinerary is customizable, and some of our customers choose to an extent this tour a bit longer so they can visit more places, like adding one more day to Namtso Lake, or two more days to Gyantse and Shigatse.
Best time: All year round. Highly recommend April, May, June, and September. Try to book early in July and August as they are the peak season.

Morning: Potala Palace

Afternoon: Jokhang Temple
Jokhang Temple has a history of more than 1300 years, the supremacy of position in Tibetan Buddhism. Jokhang is Tibet’s most brilliant period of Tibetan architecture, wood frame construction of Tibet’s first soil and created a temple of the Tibetan Plains Council regulation.
