Lari Jize A Peak, which translates to “The Five Sacred Peaks” in Tibetan, is located in Qushui County, northeast of the county town. The foothills of the mountain are cultivated with fields and natural pastures. The area is known for growing highland barley, wheat, and rapeseed; and for grazing yaks, bison, sheep, and goats. The region is also renowned for producing precious medicinal materials such as cordyceps and musk.
