  3. Enter Gyirong County, China: After crossing the border, you will enter Gyirong County in Tibet, China. The road from the border to Gyirong town is about 25 kilometres and takes around 1 hour to reach.
  4. Explore Gyirong Town: Spend some time exploring Gyirong Town and its surroundings. It is a small town with beautiful landscapes and offers a glimpse into Tibetan culture.
  5. Drive to Tingri: From Gyirong, continue your road trip towards Tingri. The distance between Gyirong and Tingri is approximately 260 kilometres and takes around 6-7 hours to reach. Enjoy the stunning views of snow-capped mountains and vast plateaus along the way.
  6. Visit Everest Base Camp: Once in Tingri, you can make a detour to visit the Everest Base Camp (North Face). It is about 110 kilometres from Tingri and takes around 4-5 hours to reach. The Everest Base Camp offers breathtaking views of Mount Everest and is a must-visit destination.
