Day 1: Arrival in Lhasa – Acclimatize to the Altitude
Upon arriving in Lhasa, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Take this day to adjust to the high altitude and climate. Explore the city at a leisurely pace, avoiding strenuous activities.
Day 2: Lhasa to Nyingchi – Heaven on Earth
Embark on a scenic drive to Nyingchi via the breathtaking Lalin Expressway, known for its stunning views of snow-capped mountains, forests, and grasslands. Explore the picturesque Kadinggou, often referred to as “Heaven on Earth.”
Day 3: Nyingchi – Segrila Pass – Lulang Forest – Basumtso
Enjoy the beauty of Nyingchi, often compared to Switzerland. Visit the Segrila Pass for distant views of Namjagbarwa and explore the lush Lulang Forest. End the day at Basumtso, a national forest park with snow mountains, lakes, and ancient temples.
Day 4: Basumtso – Cuozong Temple – Jieba Village – Lhasa
Visit the ancient Cuozong Temple on an island in the Basumtso Scenic Area. Marvel at the unique Tibetan worship practices. Later, explore the fairytale-like Jieba Village before returning to Lhasa.
Day 5: Lhasa City Tour – Potala Palace – Canggu Temple – Barkhor Street

Day 6: Lhasa – Yamdrok Lake – Karola Glacier – Shigatse

Day 7: Shigatse – Tashilunpo Monastery – Northern Tibet Grassland – Damxung County
