History for Nanjing Lhasa Train

The first passenger train on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau officially opens on July 1, 2006. with a total length of 4064 km from Beijing to Lhasa in the north, with a running time of 48 hours.
The train is the best on a plateau in the World. The train is composed of 17 cars, including one generator car, four hard seats (98 people/car), one dining car, two soft sleeper cars (32 people/vehicle), eight hard sleeper cars (60 people/vehicle), and one luggage car.
