Linzhi is a transliteration of the Tibetan word “Nyingtri” meaning “the throne of the Niang family or the throne of the sun” in Tibetan. The “bright” peach blossoms in Bomi may be due to the sanctity of Bomi glaciers and snow water, or the mother river of Bomi may baptize them – the Parong Zangbo River.
